Art in our city, a jury art works by artists from Michigan who were not selected to participate in the Regional Exhibition of 2014 at the Museum of Art Muskegon, well invitational exhibition will be on display in downtown Muskegon through 20 August
The event began on June 1 and had an opening reception on June 19, but the art is exhibited at the Frauenthal Center for the Performing Arts and the Century Club Center in downtown Muskegon until later this summer.
Admission is free and open to the public.
2. Muzik to eat lunch Olthoff Street Stage
Muskegon Chronicle mlive held the third of his series of concerts at lunchtime "Muzik to eat lunch" Olthoff Street Stage in Muskegon from 11:30 am-1:. 30 pm June 25 the Westside Jazz Trio is the act shown.
Ice cream will be provided on a first come, first served. In case of inclement weather, the concert will be held at the Muskegon Museum of Art Auditorium. Concerts are scheduled for every Wednesday in June.
3. Got Brains? In Norton Shores District Library
The veteran social sciences instructor Budd Lombaer explore how the brain works and what does this mean for our behavior in this unique event in Norton Shores District Library.
Got Brains? Is an event of three sessions focusing on excerpts from the television series Game of cerebral National Geographic? Sessions will include consideration of the concepts presented by the program Brain Games, dismantling preconceived notions and discover techniques that keep our brain function well.
The first session, entitled "pay attention", will be held 19:00-8: 30 pm June 23 the event will continue on July 21 and August 18...
4. Tommy Foster in Montague Band Shell
The Arts Council of White Lake held one of his concerts as part of its series of free summer concerts at the Montague Band Shell at 7 pm June 24. Michigan singer / songwriter / comedian Tommy Foster is the interpreter. In case of rain, the concert will be held at Montague High School.
5. Choir youth Howmet Playhouse in Whitehall
a youth choir offering music and mission work during his tour of the Middle West will perform at the Howmet Playhouse in Whitehall at 7 pm June 26.
The renewal of the Youth Choir of the University City United Methodist Church in Charlotte, North Carolina is comprised of 22 members from sixth through 12th grade. Their repertoire covers a wide range of music, including hymns and Christian pieces contemporary in singing a cappella or accompanied by guitar or keyboard.
Soloists, skits and small ensembles are also offered. The concert is free and open to the public but donations will be accepted
